Client Interviews Competition!

Summary

Effective client interviewing is crucial for solicitors, as it lays the groundwork for a successful lawyer-client relationship.

During initial consultations, solicitors gather essential details that form the foundation of their professional bond with the client.

Each team has a specific timeframe to gather all necessary information to ensure effective representation.

Afterward, time is allocated for reflection on the interview process.

Competitors must conduct thorough interviews, record personal client details, delve into the complexities of the issue, and propose potential courses of action.

The winners with the highest scores will then face off in a friendly battle of the campuses to determine our 2026 Client Interviews Champion, who will go on to compete at the Australian Law Students’ Association Competition.
