President: Geena Muller
The President is the figurehead and strategic manager of the LSA, who ensures that the activities and executive operations of the Association are conducted smoothly and in line with the LSA's vision.
Hi everyone! My name is Geena and I am honoured to be your 2026 President of the LSA! I am in my final year of my double degree in Law and Criminology and Justice… the end is near! Whenever I’m not studying I love to read books, be outside in nature, or spend time with friends!

Vice President: Matilda Thompson
The Vice President is the internal operations manager of the LSA, supporting the President while managing committee members and ensuring the Association’s executive functions run efficiently and in alignment with the LSA’s vision.
Matilda is the Vice President of the University of the Sunshine Coast’s Law Students’ Association for 2026, having previously served as Director of Legal Hands for 2024 then Vice President of Education for 2025. She currently works as a paralegal at a commercial and construction law firm in Brisbane CBD and runs a disability support service. Matilda is in her penultimate year of her double degree and studies at the Moreton Bay campus. In addition to serving on the LSA Matilda serves as the Disability Officer of the Australian Law Students Association (ALSA) and volunteers with the Pine Rivers Community Legal Service.

Secretary: Graciella McKenzie
The Secretary manages the Association's administration and miscellaneous matters, acting as the 'glue' that holds the LSA together. This includes maintaining documentation, organising committee meetings and keeping the Association’s calendars up to date.
I am a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) student at the University of the Sunshine Coast and the Secretary of the Law Students’ Association. I have a strong interest in leadership, governance, and effective communication, and I enjoy taking on responsibilities that support the broader student experience. Through my role, I aim to contribute to a welcoming, well-organised, and engaged law student community.

Treasurer: Flynn Purvis
The Treasurer manages all financial matters of the Association.
Hi my name is Flynn. I'm currently halfway through my degree, and I am your Treasurer for this year. I work at Brandon & Gullo Lawyers, and enjoy spending time with friends, family, and at the beach.

VP Education: Mira Love
The VP Education is responsible for promoting all educational interests of the Association. These include issues regarding equity or social justice, academic and career-related skills, and also some professional publications.
Hi! I’m Mira Love, Vice-President of Education for 2026. The Education Portfolio Directors and I conspire to create events for current and could-be law students to promote diversity and equity and share skills that will assist them academically and professionally. Outside the LSA, you’ll find me in the UniSC library studying (I’m in my third year reading Law), working remotely as a Paralegal, or reading any book I can curl my hands around. After graduation, I plan to pursue my interests in advocacy, environmental sustainability and philosophy.

VP Events: Dylan Currie
The VP Events organises and manages all of the Association’s professional and social events, with assistance from the Directors of Events.
Hey everyone! I’m Dylan, I’m a Second-Year Law Student at the University of the Sunshine Coast and your Vice President of Events for the Law Students’ Association. When I’m not studying or working at a law firm on Bribie Island, you’ll usually find me involved in theatre, going for long drives, or exploring new places. I have a big interest in cars, love travelling and discovering new spots. I’m very extroverted, love meeting new people, and I’m so excited to plan all the fun events we have coming up this year!

VP Publications: Haylee Spedding
The VP Publications is responsible for the overall design, processing and productions of the Association’s publications.
Hi, I’m Haylee! I’m the Vice President of Publications for 2026, having previously supported the VP of Publications in a director role in 2024 and 2025. I study part-time at the Sippy Downs campus and work full-time as a Paralegal at Axia Litigation Lawyers. I enjoy staying busy and making the most of my time, whether through study, work, staying active, or planning my next trip. Outside of university, you will often find me dancing, playing sport, spending time at the beach, travelling (especially to the snow), or 4WDing.
