Meet our Well-being Breakfast Speakers:
Kelley Burton
Kelley Burton is the Education Transformation Fellow in the Centre for Learning and Teaching, and Associate Professor in the School of Law and Society, at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Kelley serves as the Deputy Chair for the Australasian Law Academics Association, Co-Chair for the Legal Education Associate Deans Network and Associate Editor for the Legal Education Review. Kelley has completed the National Mental Health First Aid and her research interests include embedding learner-centred and trauma-informed practices into designing, teaching and assessing curriculum.
Danielle McCarthy
Dr Danielle McCarthy is a Clinical Psychologist and Clinic Director of Mind Potential Psychology on the Sunshine Coast. She works with professionals experiencing stress, burnout, and anxiety, and is passionate about helping people build sustainable, fulfilling careers. Danielle enjoys sharing practical, evidence-based strategies to support wellbeing and long-term resilience.
Emma Manning
Emma Manning is an accredited Clinical Nutritionist receiving her Bachelor of Health Science (Clinical Nutrition) from Torrens University Australia. Practising in Mount Coolum on the Sunshine Coast, Emma is passionate about creating a healthier life balance, using the power of ‘Food as Medicine’ with functional, easy to apply strategies. Gut health, stress management, immune system regulation plus the power of mind/body connection are some of the key areas that Emma works in to gain successful health improvements with her clients. When Emma is not working, you’ll find her at the dojo where she trains with Karate Noosa, studying traditional Japanese Shotokan Karate.
