Judge Cash is a graduate of the Queensland University of Technology—Bachelor of Laws (1998).

In 1999 Judge Cash was admitted as a barrister of the Supreme Court of Queensland. His Honour was appointed Queens Counsel in 2015.

Judge Cash started his legal career as a clerk in the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, and later occupied a number of different positions as a Crown Prosecutor (2001–2018). 

From 2015 until July 2018 his Honour served on the council of the Bar Association of Queensland as representative of the association’s employed members. 

Judge Cash was appointed a judge of District Court of Queensland on 2 July 2018. His Honour received subsequent commissions as a judge of the Children's Court of Queensland and as a judge of the Planning and Environment Court.

Mr Swain Roberts is the General Counsel of the University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC).  He is a lawyer and governance professional with more than 30 years legal experience, nationally and internationally, with significant experience in the higher education and health sectors.  He graduated from the University of Queensland in 1985 with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Law.  He has also completed a Graduate Diploma in Education and a Graduate Certificate in Business (Not for Profit Studies). 

After being admitted as a solicitor in Queensland, Swain worked overseas and with leading international law firm, Linklaters, for 17 years, with the last 11 years as a Capital Markets Partner based in Singapore.

Before joining UniSC, Swain worked as a Special Counsel in McCullough Robertson’s Social Infrastructure Group, providing advice to charities and not-for-profit organisations, particularly in respect to tax related funding structures.  Since returning to Australia, Swain has been involved in a range of community organisations including Turbine Sunshine Coast, St. Johns College (UQ), Sundale, Social Investment Measurement Network Australia (SIMNA), Australia Singapore Business Association Queensland, Alzheimer’s Australia Queensland, Alzheimer’s Australia Dementia Research Foundation, Buderim Foundation and Sunshine Coast Grammar School Parents & Friends.

Ben Rynderman is the Director and Principal Lawyer of Rynderman Law, admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2015. Over a decade of practice across the Magistrates, District, and Supreme Courts, he has built deep expertise in violent crime, drug and sexual offending, domestic violence, and traffic law, with a particular interest in the intersection of mental health and criminal law. Recommended in Doyles Guide in 2022, 2023, and 2025, Ben brings a creative, people-focused approach to defence, believing every client deserves clarity, compassion, and fearless advocacy. He remains committed to holding the legal system accountable and evolving it in line with contemporary standards.

Calvin Kong has practised as a lawyer since the early 1990s and focuses exclusively on commercial and property law. He advises clients on business and property transactions, including business sales and acquisitions, property purchases and sales, leasing, franchising, corporate structuring, and commercial agreements.

Known for his practical, down-to-earth approach, Calvin works closely with clients to deliver commercially sound, cost-effective solutions and build long-term relationships based on trust and results.

When not working Calvin enjoys running, reading, cooking, gardening, travel and keeping up with his family.

Justin has represented large retail and commercial landlords in South Australia, New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria for most of his career in Specialty Tenant Retail Leasing, Property Debt Recovery and Dispute Resolution.

Justin is constantly ensuring he is up to date and familiar with the legislative requirements across Australia, but most importantly, he understands the drivers underpinning the day-to-day decisions landlords must make.

Proudly sitting a little outside of the traditional lawyers’ mould, Justin is driven by his mantra “Redefining Expectations”. Justin was a finalist in the 2004 National Lawyers Young Gun Award and in 2006 a recipient of the James Archibald Douglas Prize.

Justin commenced his articles of clerkship under the Late Mr Peter Humphries in 1995. He then worked for a national law firm from 1999 to 2006. During this time he became a Partner and headed that firm’s divisions in the areas of leasing, leasing litigation, insolvency and debt recovery nationally. He was also the National General Counsel.

In July 2006, Justin commenced practice as a barrister, regularly appearing in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia. Justin retired from practice as a barrister in early 2011 to establish JKR Lawyers.

Justin now provides seamless advocacy representation as both a barrister and solicitor in South Australia and across the eastern seaboard.

The Honourable Yvette D’Ath is the Executive Director of National Legal Aid. Ms. D’Ath brings more than twenty-five years of senior leadership experience in areas of justice policy, legal system reform, national advocacy, and statutory oversight. 

Ms. D’Ath formerly served as Queensland’s Attorney-General and Minister for Justice, leading significant justice reforms and improvements to the legal system for victims of crime, including domestic and family violence. In doing this, she made a profound impact by influencing Cabinet, Parliament, regulators, and other key stakeholders. Importantly, Ms. D’Ath has dedicated much of her working career to advocating for those most vulnerable which is crucial to the advocacy of national legal assistance services. 

President Stilgoe was appointed as President of the Land Court of Queensland in May 2024 after joining as a judicial Member in 2017 and serving as Acting President since May 2023.

Before joining the Land Court, she was the first ADR Registrar to the Planning and Environment Court of Queensland in 2007 to 2009. President Stilgoe introduced court facilitated mediation to that jurisdiction.

In 2009 she was appointed as a Member of the newly established Queensland Civil and Administrative Tribunal and subsequently, as a Senior Member in 2012.

President Stilgoe was pivotal in introducing innovative and effective ADR processes during her time with both Tribunals. Her contributions to ADR were recognised in 2013 when she was awarded an OAM.
